shoofly pie
I have been craving shoofly pie (from my Pennsylvania days) I could make one but it would take way more energy than I have most days so I went on line to look - sure enough I found a place that sells and ships them. Now I know they are not Amish because Amish don't use computers but I am pretty sure they are Pennsylvania Dutch which is my background. I will let you know if they are as good as I remember.

Can't wait to find out how you like it. I don't even know what it is.
It's kind of like a coffee cake in a pie crust then they put molasses over the top, which sinks while it's cooking and the flavor goes throught the cake and then there is also some gooey molasses at the bottom between the cake and pie crust. Then they put crumbs on top. Also simular to funny cake except that is done with chocolate goo.
