White Iris

The white iris are pretty this year but didn't last long.

kind of strange

I started reading "Jane Eyer" by Charlotte Bronte today for the book group Paul runs. I have never read it before, although it seems it should have been required reading sometime in my life, anyway reading about her life of Charlotte Bronte it strikes me as very strange that I start reading her book on the exact 155th year to date of her death!

We hope to take a little Chico trip next month for Paul's birthday. Drive up on the 16th and back on the 21st? We'll see!

taxes

Waiting for Terry to get home to go get our taxes done. I have been sorting and adding things together for a week so the figures are now ready for someone to look at. But I'm much rather look at the peaches that are coming along quite nicely.
